Anthony Mekel is a Director at Savills, with nearly three decades of experience in Architecture and Design. Throughout his career, Anthony has provided global clients with bespoke interior design and design management services, helping to establish and uphold best practices in design that conform with their unique workplace portfolio standards. As an award-winning architectural designer, Anthony has managed a vast array of project types ranging in size and scope, including multi-location workplace renovations and the comprehensive design of several large corporate headquarters. His design review and value engineering expertise, coupled with his stakeholder management and project leadership, has led to cost savings, workflow efficiencies, and high-quality project execution and delivery. Anthony’s dependable presence and commitment to quality assurance and control affords clients the peace of mind knowing that all resources align with and meet their objectives and design intent.
Prior to joining the firm, Anthony was the Director of Design Management Americas and a Team Lead at CBRE. Prior to that role, Anthony was a Senior Designer with HLW International LLP, as well a Senior Designer with HOK. Since 2000, Anthony has mentored emerging architectural designers in his role as Adjunct Associate Professor at Pratt Institute’s School of Design, leading coursework in AutoCAD and architectural drafting. Anthony is a Legacy LEED Accredited Professional and is NCIDQ certified.
