Joanna Murray is an Associate Director at Macro. Joanna leverages her 18 years of experience to lead FF&E and workplace strategy management services on behalf of some of the firm’s largest clients. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), with a B.S. in Interior Design and Master of Business Administration, Strategic Leadership, Joanna has extensive experience in the field of contract furniture procurement and facilities planning. She is process driven and results oriented, bringing creative solutions and a unique perspective to her work.
Joanna is accomplished across every phase of a project and thrives on resolving challenging and complex project matters. Whether developing budgets, schedules and logistics plans, identifying project resources and team structure, recommending bid, negotiation and procurement strategies, and managing delivery and installation of FF&E, Joanna manages the details. Joanna’s experience-driven process factors in early coordination for items known to often derail FF&E projects, such as early coordination with IT/AV to ensure alignment with all stakeholders and product vendors and the development of contingency plans to mitigate risk in the event of construction delays.
Because of her proven track record for developing, managing, and executing complex projects, Joanna was selected to lead the procurement, contracting and logistics management of a one-of-a-kind commissioned artwork program for the new Comcast Technology Center, which consisted of over 50 local artists and bespoke furniture makers.
Joanna has earned a reputation with clients, vendors, and peers alike for being a subject matter expert and as a leader in her field.
