John Altieri is an Associate Director at Savills, where he brings nearly two decades of experience in engineering and construction project management. John’s enthusiasm for building strong, collaborative teams and passion for delivering enduring projects on behalf of his clients are hallmarks of his project leadership. The diversity of his experience spans many sectors, including life sciences, education, corporate interiors, and heavy civil. He has proven experience overseeing large-scale projects from schematic estimates through closeout. As a Professional Engineer, LEED Accredited Professional, and certified OSHA 30-Hour professional, John lends his broad skillsets, technical acumen, and earnest attitude to all aspects of a project, particularly in navigating the complexities of cost forecasting and procurement.

Prior to joining the firm, John worked as a Project Manager for Skanska USA Building, where he oversaw all aspects of construction projects, including the conversion of a 235,000-square-foot storage facility into a modern high school. John holds a Master of Science in Construction Management and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York.
