On May 13, team members from Macro’s Philadelphia office volunteered with Friends of FDR Park, helping to steward South Philadelphia’s largest park by weeding, plotting flower bulbs, and laying down stone for a path near the boathouse. Named a City of Philadelphia Registered Historic Place in 2000, FDR Park is one of the city’s most important public institutions, reflecting the racial, cultural, and economic diversity of South Philadelphia.

“Everyone had a blast! It felt great to take part in this activity with our team,” said organizer and team member, Julia Florkowski. “Lots of laughs and good times in support of an important urban greenspace and their visionary Master Plan.”
