Fred Buscaglia
Executive Director
Fred Buscaglia is an Executive Director at Macro, with more than 30 years of experience in construction project management and real estate advisory, accumulating over 10 million square feet totaling over $1 billion in project value. Fred provides executive oversight and advises his clients on industry trends, relocation options, and construction and project management, specifically for large-scale corporate real estate projects in the financial, insurance, media, and law firm sectors. He has extensive knowledge of high-visibility corporate interior projects, with broad technical, mechanical, and design expertise that has proven integral to a holistic real estate solution. Fred’s strengths in relationship management and executive oversight and advisory ensure a high level of accountability and performance, and he creates successful outcomes by assembling dynamic project teams, by understanding stakeholders’ views and priorities. Leading with integrity and a commitment to his relationships, Fred continuously strives for innovative advisory solutions. Major achievements of Fred’s include a 220,000 square foot build-out for Twitter as well as a 240,000 square foot relocation and consolidation for Carlyle Capital, finishing ahead of the anticipated schedule in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prior to joining the firm, Fred was a Managing Director with JLL Project and Development Services, where he was responsible for the executive oversight for the interior PM team as well as several major projects, including MetLife and Conde Nast’s Global Real Estate platform. Prior to that role, Fred managed his own Owner’s Representation and Management Consulting firm, Project 7, and served as the Operations and Administration Director for David Polk & Wardell LLP and as Senior Director at Winston & Strawn LLP. He is also a founding member of the ORPM Alliance and is a regular speaker on panels throughout the industry.
