Our next “Due Diligence: Getting To Know…” employee spotlight is on: Senior Project Manager Nora Hasan in New York.

Macro: Tell us a bit about yourself.

Nora: My background is rooted in architecture and construction. I’m a very diligent project manager, but also an abstract painter!

Macro: What do you love most about your work or working for Macro?

Nora: My favorite part of working for Macro lies in the opportunity to showcase my skills across various facets of the job. Excelling in these diverse roles brings me joy as well as a sense of achievement!

Macro: What is your favorite part of the project life cycle, and why?

Nora: In my opinion, the beginning is always the most significant. A meticulous approach during the design and planning phase lays the groundwork for a seamless journey ahead, minimizing surprises and ensuring a smoother project lifecycle. 

Macro: What is the one thing you couldn’t make it through the day without?

Nora: I always make time for my family and my cats!

Macro: What are your tried and true “work hacks”?

Nora: Being devoted and taking pride in my work as an individual!

Macro: What hard and soft skills do you lean on most in your day-to-day work?

Nora: My ability to be calm in the most stressful situations. As for hard skills, I lean heavily on Excel as well as scheduling software.  

Macro: What surprises people about your job?

Nora: I represent various types of projects and client portfolios, including the government, financial institutions, pharmaceutical organizations, and retail companies. There’s no shortage of diversity here!

Macro: If you could give one piece of advice to a young professional, what would it be?

Nora: Be observant and meticulous – small mistakes could have big consequences. Always look out for the best interest of the project and the client.
