700,000 SQ FT
- Furniture & Relocation Management
Macro provided a full array of furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) services for this 700,000+ square foot project, comprised of eight of WPP’s operating companies that relocated and moved into the same space at 3 World Trade Center.
Each of GroupM’s subsidiaries has its own branding, and with that, the opportunity to choose from separate sets of furniture designs to fit their unique needs. Macro managed the project process between the Architect, GroupM and all vendors to ensure alignment and consistency from the point of the decisions, to procurement, delivery and installation. Macro advocated and negotiated on the client’s behalf to mitigate risk for the client when furniture did not meet expectations or deliveries fell short of expectations. Macro also implemented cost control measures to hold all GroupM stakeholders accountable.
When it came time for delivery, Macro worked around the clock, alongside the Port Authority, and per the site and building security protocols to ensure furniture was delivered on time, per GroupM’s deeds and requirements. We also served as the central point of contact for technology coordination between the furniture vendors, architect and the audio-visual consultant.
