The client desired to gain a better understanding of their customers and prospects, but did not have the marketing technology infrastructure nor appropriately consolidated and cleaned data to be effective. Macro managed the implementation of a customer relationship management platform (CRM).
Macro gained an understanding of the work to date, as we were brought on in year 2 of a 4-year process. Immediately, Macro developed a granular project plan, meeting with key stakeholders to align on priorities and timelines. This led to the organization of multiple “all-hands” working teams, steering committees, Division roadshows, and executive leadership meetings to increase awareness of the program that led to adoption by pivotal leaders. Macro acted as the glue to keep everyone focused on the phased approach, knowing buy-in from all impacted by the platform was critical to project’s success. Macro managed the agile development process, helping the client to automate their back-end processes to reach their target audiences with the right message, at the right time, through the right channel.
Macro demonstrated the ability to create partnerships within the organization, manage a project schedule, set expectations, and pivot with the fluidity of a large project with substantial dependencies. The team achieved a major milestone with the launch of the common customer data hub. Macro’s current focus in this endeavor included incremental channel enablement, expansion of marketing campaigns and the corresponding data, and campaign reporting and analytics.
