NYU Langone Health is one of New York’s premier health systems and ranked amongst the nation’s top 10 health systems. It consists of 6 inpatient facilities and hundreds of clinical locations throughout greater New York City. The Real Estate Development and Facilities department (RED+F) is responsible for over 12 million square feet of space and regularly partners with highly skilled outsourced healthcare specialists to supplement their in-house staff. Macro has a long-standing on-call agreement with NYU Langone Health, partnering closely and supporting a wide range of projects, including infrastructure upgrades, energy building, as well as disaster restoration, for more than a decade.
Macro served as NYU Langone Health’s go-to emergency response team for their disaster planning, ensuring that facilities were prepared for another Hurricane Sandy-level event. Services included flood mitigation project management, testing/inspections coordination, contract verification/closeout, budgeting, scheduling and other sub-projects under FEMA Guidelines.
Since then, Macro has managed many projects for the NYU Langone Health System, including: Kimmel Pavilion, Winthrop University Hospital and NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn, among many others.
