Savills Grows Project Management Leadership Team
NEW YORK (December 7, 2022) – Savills added Christopher J. Scala as a senior director in New York, building on the firm’s current project management capabilities and strategic advisory services in the Northeast region and across North America.
Scala brings over 30 years of construction management and project leadership experience. Christopher has served as MEPFP and infrastructure director on dozens of projects throughout the New York tri-state area, including over $1 billion of commercial real estate construction and $1.2 billion of healthcare facilities and research laboratories.

Scala’s professional portfolio includes ground-up construction and infrastructure modernization for New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and eight laboratory fit-outs and renovations for Columbia University Medical Center. He has directed large-scale renovation projects for the LEED Gold Gateway Academic Center at Stevens Institute of Technology and NYU Langone Health Tisch Hospital, which received the Engineering News-Record Healthcare Project of the Year award in 2015.
Scala’s arrival continues the expansion of the project management platform at Savills since its acquisition of Macro Consultants LLC in March 2020. The firm has grown the group’s leadership and teams in markets across the United States, including New York, Philadelphia, Washington, Boston, Atlanta, Nashville, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and South Florida.
